The MMC qualified Carpenters and Joiners undertake construct wooden fixtures, ie, floorboards, kitchen and bathroom units, window frames and doors, roof trusses and wall partitions. for both domestic and commercial projects.
All carpenters are experienced with specialist carpentry machinery and tools, cutting and shaping timber for floorboards, skirting boards and window frames.
Skills Include:
Bench joinery of doors, window frames, staircases and fitted furniture.
Fitting wooden structures of a building, such as floor and roof joists, roof timbers, staircases, partition walls, and door and window frames.
Second fixing, ie, skirting boards, door surrounds, doors, cupboards and shelving together with door handles and locks.
Making and fitting interiors for shops, hotels, banks, offices and public buildings.
